And why?

What brought this on is I got a hankering for some radiohead and just watched the video for Street Spirit (fade out) on youtube. In my oppinion the cinematography is totally awesome, it also fits in with the music perfectly. I love the crispness of the monochrome.

The Matrix was hailed as a new era in film with their 'matrix time' special effects. This music video was made five years before the matrix. Anyone see the similarity?

Peter Gabriel's sledgehammer has to be mentioned like, but my favorite would be Points of Authority by Linkin Park, or maybe Call me Al by Paul Simon with Chevy Chase in the video Laughing .
Also maybe Radio Ga Ga

Prodigy - Smack my Bitch up is awesome.

For the time Dire Straits - Money for Nothing was pretty good.

Tool - Prison Sex. Cool

Don't know what it represents or 'what the artist was trying to say' etc, I just love the way it's done. Never has a song about violent anal rape been presented in such an arty way. Laughing

Dip It Low by Christina Milian! Drooling

I've seen a couple on MTV base recently at the gym that I like. One is where there are some nice lady doctors who are examining a man because he can fire electricity from his fingertips. The lady doctors happen to be wearing bikinis.

Also there was one where two nice ladies were boxing. In bikinis.

In terms of non lecherous music videos, I quite like "White and Nerdy" by Weird al. Smile

freak on a leash's artwork was done by Todd McFarlane, the creator of the Spawn comics, and he also worked on Spiderman a bit.

Agreed, Freak on a Leash is a good vid. Another very good Korn vid is Twisted Transistor

I think Tenacious D - Tribute is worth a mention for the fact that Dave Grohl makes a very good Satan, and also Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice - there's something incredibly cool about Christopher Walken. Period.

The Foo Fighters Learn to Fly is a good 'un, too. As is Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden - very surreal.
