Hello People

This as probably been asked a thousand times but i can't be
arsed searching through, i have never ridden a bike before
so this is new ground for me.

Can i do this CBT thing even though i don't have a bike ?
i'm sick to the back teeth of getting stuck in the bloody traffic
and watching bike after bike just cruising on as if it was a sunday
morning...lol.

So i'm thinking about getting one myself, being old enough to do
the big stuff my friend says i need to get a 400/600cc, according to him these are ideal bikes for me ?

all help and advise appreciated. Confused

Most riding schools will have their own bikes for you to use for the day (although usually will charge a little more for using them). A CBT is aimed as if you've never ridden a bike, so shouldn't be a problem for yourself.

What are you aiming to be using the bike for? If it's commuting, something like a 500cc bike (cb500, er5, gs500e, gpz500s) would be a good choice, as quite cheap, economical still quick enough.

Have a look at www.begin-motorcycling.co.uk for the details on taking the CBT, test & riding schools in your area.

I'd do all the courses possible cash permitting, gives you better perspective of bikes/cars awareness etc.
