I have my practical test booked in 2 weeks, can anyone give me any advise of what to expect (questions, moves etc)
I read you get asked somthing about carrying pillions, is this true?
I've never carried pillion, whats to be expected?
Any help is appreciated ____________________ "Welcome to where time stands still, no one leaves and no one will" |

Before the test they will usually ask a few questions on bike mechanical knowledge & maintenance etc (e.g. lubing/adjusting chain, using the kill switch, checking lights, changing oil...)
After the test they usually ask about carrying pillions, specifically what adjustments need to me be (if I recall correctly: mirrors, lights, tire pressure, suspensions), how they should behave (keep still, lean with you in corners, keep feet on pegs, hold on tight) and what is affected (braking distance - longer, acceleration - slower, balance at low speed).
You may get different questions but that's what I was told and that's what I got on my test.
Good luck |
