I had an interview this morning, where I work (Council)... for a 'Performance Administrator Officer'

I already work there as a temp, but wanted a perm job

They asked the usual vague, weird questions...

'If I gave you a task to do, how would you approach it'? Shocked .. "Okay, yes, but now describe your thought proccesses" Shocked

'Who is your main customer'? Shocked
Erm...

Then I had a 30 min test transfering data into excel, then writing a report on the findings.

Anyway, I got the call at 5 tonight to say I have the job! Thumbs Up Result. He said I came out top score on the interviews and my test was really good. He liked the way I had summarised my excel data findings into my written word report!

Just wanted to share my joy Mr. Green as no-one else seems at all interested.
OH hasn't said much.
I was SO nervous this morning, almost pooing myself, but I didn't let it show. I feel a bit proud.
So ... blah. Surprised I am proud.

From-
Me.
(With a proper official job)

Even though I am the only one who cares Neutral

Sat here, on my own , just thinking... God I had such a rough time today, and now I have the end result I have no-one to share it with.
But I am chuffed with myself
Oh well... I know that I have done good, and I got what I wanted.

It was a big thing for me. I find it diffficult to hide my nerves, but I guess I did it.
Yay Mr. Green

Thanks to BB..
Wink xx

Congrats on the job!

Does that mean you will be able to spellbind your old man with racy tales of Best Value and managed change, as my missus does to me nightly?

Congrats, PAO Jodie! Hope you'll enjoy your new role. Are they giving you a company bike by any chance? And keys to the loo with paper in it? Very Happy

There really are some weird job titles about..

I've been doing contract stuff for my council and they have bloody weird ways of going about things, but once your working for them then your set up really (unless you do something really silly) i have to say its alarming how much some don't do..

Have applied for the job (the job i am actually doing for them now Rolling Eyes ) but not sure about it, i have a feeling after a week or so somebody would end up folded in half in the copier covered in post-it notes held on with drawing pins Confused

Anyways, congradumerlations Thumbs Up As i said its a sod to get into but when you are Thumbs Up
