Strange, only had a few showers down in sunny Somerset and it is now blue skies all round. Is the rain really as bad as the BBC and Titz is making out?

Conversation with Titz: -

WHY THE FUCK DOES MOULD HAVE TO EXIST AND DESTROY ALL MY GOOD CLOTHES! :@ says:
Jon, is it raining like fock down there?
Jon says:
nope
Jon says:
blue sky
WHY THE FUCK DOES MOULD HAVE TO EXIST AND DESTROY ALL MY GOOD CLOTHES! :@ says:
fuck - had 2 inches of rain in the back garden
WHY THE FUCK DOES MOULD HAVE TO EXIST AND DESTROY ALL MY GOOD CLOTHES! :@ says:
and had to sort out very very wet leathers

It was absolutely torrential this morning. I planned to spend today getting my bike ready for a trip abroad on saturday. Got up at 8am, literally woken by the rain. It didn't stop until ~1pm. Constant, hard rain.

Pissed me reet off so it did. Never have I missed my old garage more than today. Sad

Well I was at work on the Welcome team at the hotel today and everyone was saying that it was lashing down until about Bridgwater/Taunton on the M5, so I think south of there was nice, luckily I am in South Somerset, about 30 miles closer to the equator than you are. Razz

Was raining all day today at work.

It stopped half an hour before I left, and now I have blue skies.

Going into work today in lane 3 on the M25 I got hit by a bow wave that had been sent from a car travelling in the other direction, over the central reservation, and other the BMW in lane 4. It was fairly wet Laughing

Lots of roads around here are nicely flooded as well, only found one broken car that needed towing so far though. Sad

Was on a training course at a hotel in London today. Some monkey had covered a drain with a rat trap.

Still raining now here in malvern, lots of roads flooded out and some trains were cancelled yesterday - but i guess if it keeps raining i can either build an ark or go camp out on the top of the malvern hills Neutral

Kingston in London was flooded I hear?! Confused

Had lots of rain - Non stop all last night. Road did flood but doesnt last long. Live right by the sea so tends to run that way.
So far today was lovely this morn, just peed it down again, back to sunshine now.
