Ok, so I've just cut my hair, and it's now a chin-length bob. this means I can't just put it in a ponytail at the base of my neck, however and I'm wondering what I can do about helmet hair?

Any advice?

I have started putting my buff over my head like a balaclava covering all my hair and keeping it tucked in. It works a treat Smile

Good question.

I tend to have my hoody over my head, then the lid - stops the wind noise and keeps the hair un-knotty.

I object to the sexist nature of the question!

Razz

I tend to wear my necktor so it traps most of my heair and stops the wind getting to it.

If I really care then I have a small brush secreted* in a pocket for when I get to the destination.

It's alright to take care of your appearance, just as long as your mates don't catch you...

I don't understand why you would want to cut your hair to begin with!?

I know a fair few people who wear woolly hats underneath there lids. It seems to work if you don't mind the sweatiness.

I don't personally get that problem having dreads n all so no any type of hair day for me Thumbs Up

I give up with helmet hair i just tie it back and rip of the helmet and have it all over the place. When i had a fringe though it was the most annoying thing ever, this thing was in my eyes all time and was an odd shape when i tried to tuck it away. Just keep my hair style plane now, no point with helmets.

I would give a bandana a go like Annabelle says there.

I'm not a girl, but I do have long-ish hair (reaches my lips at a stretch now).

Putting my helmet on, I sweep my hair at the front back over the top of my head; then put the back of my helmet to the top-front of my head and slide the helmet on, making sure it keeps my hair out of my face and eyes as I do so.

Yeah, that's exactly the problem: I've got bangs that go all weird angles, so even after I've brushed it out, it still looks wonky.

I do this too, not only does it keep my hair tidy but it also stops my earrings catching on the padding when I take my helmet off Thumbs Up

The BF is in mourning over the current haircut as it is.

I've shaved my head before, though. Looked cool, until I was trying to grow it all back. I have these weird cowlicks, and it always stuck up funny.

I wear a little bandana over my hair; low enough in the front to keep the fringe/bangs tucked in and a small knot in the back of the head underneath the helmet line. Keeps the hair tidy, my head cool and the lining clean. Thumbs Up Got really cool Moomin ones! Very Happy

I think it looks cool like that.

A bit of that "Bed Hair" stuff*, it'd look very funky.

And like the guy says, with knockers like that ... boys ain't mostly looking at your hair, sugar.

*Don't ask me what it is ... my hair always looks like Bed Hair.

Personally I use Fructis frizz-free serum, but it doesn't do much good, LOL. Long hair and bikes = zombie hair.

I like the bike. Very saucy!
