Need new back tyre, and my front tyre is dry and cracked so they're both getting done.

Been quoted £220 on these bad boys by TST Tyres

Anyone got any experiences with them yet? (ROAD, not POWER Smile)

Thanks,

t

I'm gonna get my bike kitted out with Diablo Stradas in the end - 186 fitted for a pair at FWR tyres once i get back from indonesia. I heard the reviews people wrote about them and got tempted. Seems like a good choice... Cheaper than the 2Ct's mind.

Toby, i've got these tyres fitted, so far i've done about 3k on them and all i can do is praise them, brilliant wet grip, with good dry grip too (grinding hero blobs, about 5mm of chicken strip or less on the rear total) plus they have loads of tread left. Also on a VFR800 here and well i can say they are the perfect tyres for the bike, paid £195 for the pair too!

Ive got the pilot road 2's which are 2CT tyres but harder centre £174 fitted to loose wheels but I was quoted upto £210 for fitting to the bike.
Think they would suit you better (well last longer but have grippy edges for the weekend blasts)

I got some some pilot road 2's fitted about a month or so ago... done about 2000 miles on them and I'm really impressed, wet grip is very confidence inspiring (feels better than the continental road attacks I had before, and they were good).
I had my old conti's scrubbed to the edge whereas I still have a cm or so left of chicken strip on these, so I haven't really pushed them but leant over they feel nice and stable.... I just need some good weather to really test them out! Smile

Have a look on demon tweeks's website. Their prices are very competitive, and they do a free ride-in ride-out fitting service on appointment. It's not too far from Liverpool and is conveniently located for a north wales rideout .

Just had them fitted, from the 50 miles I've just done I'd have to say I am EXTREMELY impressed with them Thumbs Up

Top service from the boys at TST as well (Risley, Warrington - 01925 766987)
