Apart from the odd fly and a Russian dissident, what creatures have you killed, accidentally or on purpose?

I've intentionally only ever killed flies, spiders, wasps and unidentified creepy crawlies. And now a mouse, which I actually set out to kill, so it was more a murder than just a killing. RIP. Apologies for any ants I may have walked/ridden over.

Spiders.
Nasty 8 legged gits! The best thing for arachnocide is a large squirty bottle of Bathroom Flash. At least twenty squirts must be applied in conjunction with hysterical screeching.

Possums (in NZ) - You can't help but run them over in the dark; there are SO many of them. Although if I "winged" one, I'd go back and reverse over them to put them out of their misery.

Probably also the odd weta (nasty-looking cricket-like insect in NZ) and praying mantis (evil buggy eyes!) ... and many many of those wasps which eat Monarch caterpillars on my mum's swanplants.

rabbits, birds, squirrels and other roadside wildlife dont tend to interface too well with the wheels/windscreen of a van as I have found out on a few occasions.

On a bike, the worse Ive had is a couple of flies

There was a greenfly attack in my conservatory on every single rose bush and plant i had if that counts? I have started my mass murder spree a few weeks ago with pesticide and eventually they became immune so i had to bring it all outside and blast the c*nts of and then apply more pesticide! (also i would like to know who killed all the ladybirds as they would be beneficial on eating green fly and release me of my murderous spree with pesticide)

Rest are just wasps, flys and spiders.

A seagull which liked to swoop down close to my dog when taking him out for walks and an undisclosed number of magpies.

Nothing on the bike.

Wild boar and deer. The first time I drove into a boar at about 40mph, I stopped to see if it was still alive and it was. It stood up, shook itself (like a dog does when its wet) and proceeded to attack the car. It scared the crap out of me. It then ran off.

Plenty of pheasants, a baby rabbit, 2 birds, a duck, spiders, flies, wasps, fleas, a tick, ants, slugs, snails, frogs.

I think that's it. I feel bad about all of them, apart from the slugs and snails which I seem to stamp on when I'm drunk, and the tick which had attached itself to my head.

When I went up to Lincolnshire to visit the old dear last time I hit a rabbit that refused to move (my first ever road kill). I thought I might drive cleanly over it without harm as it was well between the wheels, but it must have jumped for it at the last moment and made a very satisfying series of clunks under the car.

After that I found I'd gotten a taste for it and started going for more rabbits and wood-pigeons too (this was around 5am). I clipped a woody with the upper corner of the windscreen but I don't think it went down. The trick with those smart feckers is to come in at a regular speed, then floor the accelerator which catches them off guard. If they panic and don't fly 90-degrees away you have a good chance of clumping them.

Chasing rabbits makes you swerve, so you have to restrain the blood-lust if they're a bit too quick, especially with two kids asleep in the back.

All in all it's jolly good sabre practice, what what. Thumbs Up

That's the sad truth hellkat. I've killed thousands of em.

I've worked on farms most me life....killin' is a daily task. So add to the possums a thousand odd cattle beasts, too many sheep n goats to hazzard a guess at, a bunch of deer and the odd horse.

Obviously countless spiders/flies/ants/bees etc.

I think I killed a Pigeon on the CBR, I was doing about 50mph and it flew up into the road and got me in the chest. I got a visor full of feathers and the bird bounced off my lap and landed in the road behind me.
No blood on me though.

Other that that, I picked a girly friend up a few weeks back in the 206, was heading back to my place. I ran over 2 rabbits on the same stretch of road. Both times un-intentional.

Need less to say she went ballistic and I got no sex that night.

Ok so I'm to blame for the whole ecosystem collapse/global warming/end of the world. Shocked

Bloodsuckers, remember them? Those little red things found on walls, windowsills and various other stone erections in the summer. Even now I can't resist splatting them and dragging the redness across the wall.
In fact just 2 days ago I finally found out what they actually are:

https://i1.treknature.com/photos/338/red_velvet_mite.jpg

Quote:

Bright red, velvet mites are often seen scurrying over garden paths and walls during the summer they are only 3-5mm long.

Though lovely to the eye, red velvet mites are disliked by the palate: their color may warn predators to the mites' unpleasant taste. Put them on an anthill and no ant would touch them.

The presence of red velvet mites is extremely important to the environment. These mites are part of a community of soil arthropods that is critical in terms of rates of decomposition in woodlands and in maintaining the structure of the entire ecosystem.

Oh and I've shot a horse.
