Does anyone here know what the firing order is for this bike as my mate needs to know.

Fairly sure its 1-3-4-2 but I can't find it in the manual. Try asking on https://www.suzukiownersclub.co.uk/ someone will know for definite.

Whys he need to know?

just had a look on trusty autodata and for 1983-88 GSX550 the order is 1,2,4,3.tim

Cool cheers peeps, he's basically done a complete rebuild of the bike, i phoned him this evening to tell him the firing order.

He made a slight boo boo anyway this afternoon, apparently he didnt do the screws on the bottom of the carbs up tight enough and started the bike up it backfired then caught fire lol

I will post a piccy when he sends me it.
