 |
|
For a few weeks now I've thought about getting rid of the zx6r and getting something else.
Since seen Waves TL1000R and a few other bikes I'd quite fancy a V-twin, I've been looking at VTR's. Has anyone had one? What are they like, are there simular bikes which are better?
I thought about an SV650S but I'm a bit worried ill get bored of it after going from the zx6 to something less powerful.
Also any idea's what I'd get for my ZX6?
Its 2003, done 32k miles, no service history though it had a major service not too long ago (5 shims were replaced) and Ive changed the oil every 3k miles. Its got a sprint steering damper and power commander 3, DB screen and cat 1 alarm. Its in pretty good condition, few little scratches here n there. Its got a race can (£100 jobbie from ebay lol) but I got the original too.
I think maybe 3k?? I dunno lol

Err I'm not getting a bigger bike to ride faster. Since when has it been the case that the bigger bike you ride the faster you must ride?
From what I've read the VTR is about 110bhp so thats 3 bhp more than the ZX6R Obviously being a V-Twin will have more torque.
I want to ride something different.
Pretty pathetic comment to be honest. ____________________ Sheep Shagger |

Hmm I've had that bike 18 months now, I ride it everyday. I've only ridden a few other bikes and I'm starting to think I've lived a sheltered life in terms of trying different bikes which is why I'm going for a change.
I dunno if you realise but riding bikes isnt just about going round a bend at mach 10, 90 degrees of lean on the very edge of your tyre. I dont ride fast, its not a problem for me, I enjoy it very much and wont stop riding.
What is it with these pathetic "You cant lean your bike as much as me so you shouldnt be on a bike" attitudes? Have you got a small cock and try to make up for it by riding fast then slagging others down?
Now if you dont have anything related to this thread to say (that is if you have no decent advice regarding me getting a new bike or what my current bike is worth) either pm me and we can continue to discuss it that way or start a new thread. How about a title like "Yoko can lean his bike as much as me therefore he's a cock"
