I would say way too good to be true.

No way would I pay out and expect delivery. Might take the risk of buying it and paying cash on collection.

I would HPI it if they had supplied the Reg No. but it's not been gien, which makes me a little more wary.

I was of the same opinion, but basically the seller stats he away on business, so I would have to pay online etc, then he would "get it delivered" for me.

Hmm ... I've sent a message for the Reg No etc, see if they bother to respond.

I've been watching a few days wondering if it could be a scam etc, but just thought i'd find out what others think.

If something is too good to be true it usually is. Someone will either get the bargain of the month or find they are seriously out of pocket.

Without the option to view I would walk away, but thats because I can't afford to be a grand out of pocket.

But you already know this, or you'd have laid the cash out... Smile

I've seen the EXACT same wording elsewhere before. Google on some of it.

It's a scam. Don't know how exactly - probably legs it with a deposit.

As above, obvious scam.

Too good to be true = scam.

Seen the exact wording a few times.

The bit about 'going officially through ebay' is extra padding to make you think it's genuine.

I'd report it, but can't find the page on ebay help to do it, and im bored searching.

Kal: I know your right tbh and i guess i always knew it was a scam, but it's one of those you just hope to be true. Oh well, reported it anyway.

Jamie Stokes: Unfortunatly, this person, even if his IP "gets banned" he'll be back on, the IP ebay will "track" will be a false dead end IP probably listed as in Czechoslovakia or somewhere like that, so this SCAM artist/tw*t will be around for longer.

Oh well, thanks all, at least the links up for more people to report and for people to become more aware.

On the mention of scams, have I mentioned im selling a 07 reg fireblade.

150 miles on it, barely used, still in showroom condition. Work commitments overseas are forcing me to sell the bike quickly. Unfortunately, due to being out the country viewing or pick up will not be possible what so ever. Though, I am willing to have a friend deliver to your front door for a small fee.

£5000ono + £200 delivery, payable via paypal, pay half now half later and the bike shall be delivered asap, honest.
