depends what you want the bike for...
the gixxer isn't that good at slow speed hair pin type of bends, but is the most powerful...
don't know much about the other 2... Neutral
in the last episode of fast bikes they said the gixxer was their fav...
love the r1's look though Dance!

I have seen one abuse deals gap and obliterate every bike there.

Which is the prettiest, and which is the most comofrtable - there is no other way to seperate them for on the road riding.

Lets face all of them, including the 'blade and 1098 (which I notice arent on the list!) can do 70mph in first so its never going to be worth splitting them over speed.

For my money the 1098 or the R1 are the prettiest, followed by the CBR1000RR

They are girls bikes though... Now if you were talking Z1 or CBX1000 thats a whole other ball of wool.

That's not surprising being as the 1098 used the R1 as inspiration, because the design team thought that it was the most beautiful Japanese bike.

Check BIKE from a few months ago if you don't believe me.

600s can do over 70 in first gear - the 1000s can hit over 100!

I'd have to go for the 05 ZX10R - in black with an Arata full system.

There's a nice totally standard ZX10R in the dealership near me with less than 2000 miles on it...

Go buy it, honestly Ive never rode a bike like it. Had mine 6months and still get all giddy when I go out on it! Laughing

Oh and as for the exhaust its gotta be a carbon Racefit growler - I may get one but I cant justify spending £500 on a can when ive got a brand new scorpion on it!

That brings to mind the question though of what part did the 916 and 998 play in the looks of the R1!

100mph in first? You might as well get a scooter! You don't have to change gear on one of them either... Razz

no... but im only repeating what the blokes in fast bikes said, they could be bull shitting i'll never know, but i personally am going to take their word for it Rolling Eyes

saying that these things only matter on track days, so for road rideing im guessing its what you find most comfortable, prettiest etc blah blah... anybody know what these are like on the road then? Cool

Difficult to say............. I would have to say that until the 04 model they were most un-916 series. The 04 and 07 models are clearly more of an evolution from the earlier models IMO.
