If only Aprilia would actually make this as a road bike! I'd love it. Excellent looks with enough grunt to ride plenty fast on the road without being too over the top.

You do realise the engine is a competition engine?

While Aprilia claims 60 hour service intervals, I believe the people that don't want their engines to blow up are doing it a fair bit more regularly.

That also had a competition supermoto motor in it. With even shorter maintenance intervals. It's just the nature of those motors.

No, a 4t V-twin more commonly used in offroad/supermoto applications. It revs to 13,000+ and has a footprint smaller than a similar capacity single.
