oh yeah, id like to blow a whole between my legs through not hooking it up right Laughing

Good to know that the people actualy interested in doing it, can do it themselves if they want, rather than pay out £00's for someone else to rip apart and bastardise there bike.

Fitting a nitros kit is well easy and its much better to just go out and buy one for £500 rather than trying to make one which will be a pain and might not work very well or may be dangerous.

For the people that 'know what they are doing' and really enjoy working on there car/bike, then that kit is only one step away from measuring up everything yourself and going to your local cornershop and buying the selotape and sticky back plastic yourself.

If i really wanted one then id get someone else to fit it, 1) because i know jack sh!t about cars/bikes and 2) if it goes wrong, you can blame them... assuming you survive the rather violent explosion that may or may not follow the hissing sound and the strange smell.

Nitrous Oxide is not explosive. It will not even burn. It is just N2O, and releases extra oxygen into the combustion chamber.

All the best

Does it not come in pressurized containers though? Surely they could be considered explosive?
Also petrol + nitrous oxide could = big explosion? Razz

Always wondered about that... though I susepct it may have to be in an tight enclosed space (such as a barrel in an engine) to work... otherwise I suspect it would just boil off.
Obviously there has to be some sort of fire first.. as keith said it just adds extra oxygen to the mixture.

As long as you mess up impressively and on-camera, then messing up is okay. Smile

No reason why it should explode ( somepeople have been watching to many films ). All its doing is adding extra oxygen into the engine to produce more power.

Wouldn't want to build it myself though, bought mine as a package but did install in myself along with a Emerald ecu to control the fuelling and igniton.
