I'm looking at buying a new 1000cc supersports bike (possibly an R1) and am getting quotes of £500 to £600 fully comp with 5 years of no claims bonus. Does this sound about normal?

How much do you pay, on what bike, how many years no claims and for what cover?

I was quoted about £490 TPFT on a 996, 5 yr NCB, 23 years old. Was a first quote though, would expect to get it around £400 ish.

Just got my renewal quotes for my SP1.

£275 TPFT
23, 3yrs NCB, no accident claims, 0 pts, in a locked shed, good-ish area.

Mate pays £95 TPFT for his 1999 R1, but he's like 36 with fill NCB and a complete twat face.

91 ZX10 ninja and 91 FJ1200

bennetts ,multibike policy

240 per year with 1 years NCB

crap company and i prob wont be with them at renewal time but couldnt beat their prices anywhere else.

Only good thing about the policy is they both earn their own NCB Thumbs Up

I'm 29 so getting towards puttering around age Laughing

I think to get decent power for your money and pay sod all insurance with minimal effort then go for the older styles

I just do as im a 90's stylee kid Very Happy

Very low mileage, immaculate example of a collectable bike. It's not the price I payed but what the rep valued it at.

My bike is insured in my bf's name but...

(Him) 25, 3yrs ncb, 6 points (IN10), full license for 1.5 years (i think)

(Me) 26, 0 ncb, 3 points (SP30), bike license for 1 year

£400 tpft with me as named rider

1995 Urban Tiger Fireblade (893cc)

I think it's a rip off tbh, i only paid £600 FC on an 03 R6 when i had just passed! Then again, i was paying more than that for my car insurance, a shitty Brava 1.6 auto with 8yrs ncb!
