My M8 who works with me has started to regain interest in Bikes, having
seen mine!

The pics below are the result of an E-Bay purchase last week Honda VT500E The bike was advertised as UNFINISHED PROJECT! But as you can see,

Only 8 HOURS! of work later and an aditional spend of about £90 that
includes having it MOT'd it's now on the road for under £550

O.K. so it wont set the world on fire, but, it aint a bad bike for the
money. Dying to check it out next week and go for a ride.

Who wouldnt want an RD500 for that kind of money. Loads of fun, but I suspect that a good deal would be close to triple that amount!

All the best

a £500 RD would make a nice basis for my GP replica fantasy project tho!
Then again so would an NS400, for that amount, ill probably wake up before that happens though!

As I write this I have not had the chance to meet up with my M8 he
lives in the North East (Clethorpes) and travels around the country
normaly by car, doing his thing.

However, we are due to meet up soon in Bedford! and his has promised
to take the bike weather permitting, I will meet up with him on the NC30
and check out his bike!

Knowing my mate "Slick" he will ave the bike really sorted!

I have told him to Log-In on the site, so if we get a "SLICK" from the
North East we will be able to ask him more about the bike!
