Tyre problem.........?

I've noticed a strange thing on the Pirelli Scorpions on my Pegaso Trail. On the right hand side (sitting on the bike) the direction of travel arrows printed on the tyre go the correct way whilst on the left they point backwards. Is this OK or am I being thick ?

It sounds strange at the very least. Are you sure they are directional arrows for the rotation of the tyre? Maybe posting a picture would help us to give you an answer.

Thanks for your input Matt and Vin. I've had another look and written on the front tyre above and below the arrow is "Routa Anteriore - Front Wheel. The back says "Routa Motrice - Driving Wheel" Oh er Missus!

You put them on one way if they are going on the front and the other if they are going on the rear...
