Hi,

Looking to offload the bike, but do not really know what it is worth. Looked at Bike Trader and they go for around £1500 which I think is way steep.

It has:

New fork seals (fitted by Honda dealer)
New chain & sprocket (D.I.D)
New tyres - front and back (Pirelli Sport Demons)
25K 'ish miles
Top end rebuild 18 months ago
Light scuffing to can
MOT July 2008
TAX October 2007

Anyone got suggestions?

I'd sat just over £1100. In comparison to bikes on eBay that it which generally do show their true value. And its a great looking bike with a few new things added to it. Hope that helped Smile Thumbs Up

I would of thought it is £1,200 worth of bike... might pay you to give a pm to Godzgift as he was looking for a 125 not long back... however haven't seen him around for a while. Sad

Advertise it at more though. Say £1300, if you would accept £1100. As people WILL haggle.

i would pay 1000

as the mileage is quite high for a 125 which will put alot of people off. Do you have a receipt for the rebuild ?

No receipt, done by a mate. I fully expect people to take that with a pinch of salt.

I think they look great. I would happily spend £1100 on a bike like that, if i had it anyway Embarassed

Good luck with the sale (if indeed you are selling it) Thumbs Up

what i meant was that there are different decals at different angles which imo makes it look messy. i got the same livery on my nsr which i did myself and did it to look as much the same as the real thing. it was more tricky to put the hm plant decal higher up on the fairing rather that on the flat surface lower down but i think it was worth the strugle

mine is a 2000 model with just 2795 miles on the clock. taxed last month and mot the month before that. engine runs fine with hardly any smoke after warm up. new chain (D.I.D) and sprockets (JT), new forks not in this pic but are black, new pads. how much do you guys think it is worth?

No probs,

The decals were done on mine by a friend some time ago, they are the 2004 ones and not shrunk to accomodate the NSR. He had them and offered them. My bike at the time was plain black. It has improved it but I agree, he has picked and chose what goes where for space provided - your main decal is a lot smallerer than mine.

Some people will spot it 'aint right' others will not.

Mate says to pitch it at £995 on Bike Trader - which is what I'll do.

I would have thought yours would be the £1800+ value.

i understand about the decals. some of mine where to big so i couldn't fit all mine on and thought that i wouldn't bother putting them on as it would have made it look to messy. i would have thought that yours would be worth more than 995 as it sounds like it has been looked after and still looks better than the red/white/blue. i guess the price that you put on mine is good since i only paid 800 for it about 4 months ago which imo was a great deal, but i forgot to mention it was a catergory d Embarassed . however it had been fixed but the fairings still had scrapes under the coverup paint so i decided to repaint the whole thing Very Happy .
