Are they any more illegal than tinted visors?

Anyone tried a visor on with this sort of work on it - what can you see?

Cheers. Thumbs Up

those helmets look very poorly done, and at a guess, anything that limits your vision could be ilegal, depending on the copper.

I'd guess it's a bit like trying to look thru a security grill at a jewellery shop?? Not that I'd know anything about that sort of thing Embarassed

Not sure about the legality of it, although I'd suspect it could well draw some unwanted attention from plod for being so distinctive Confused

Take it they would have a heart attack if they tried on a pair of mirrored sun glasses.

Yeah im just wondering if they could do you for anything more than £30 by the road.

I saw one like it in Norwich once and it looked the nuts. The visor wasn't completely painted over like these two have been, it was over the sides though with black tint elsewhere with a regular skull motif.

What's more the rider had black leathers with a full set of bones painted/stitched on, he approached a medium sized roundabout opposite me and the mrs in the car and I sat bolt upright and the gf was scared lol. It genuinely looked like an 8ft skeleton riding a motorbike around. God knows how the old folks would have reacted if he stopped and then looked in their window hahaha.

I know the finish on them isn't great, i'm not bothered about that - I'm not overly concerned they are illegal - just how illegal is the question.

Number one though would be visibility... It would be all fun and games until you crash cus you can't see anything, if you can see through all of it, some of it or barely any of it are obviously worlds of difference though when considering something like this and that's what im hoping to get info on.

I remember seeing something on a TV programme a few years ago where some company had found a way of printing graphics onto a clear plastic surface which when viewed from the back is totally clear and looks exactly as though nothing were printed on the other side.

I assume this is the technology they're using, otherwise who would buy a lid with a visor than you can't see anything out of?

Wonder how the law would apply to it if the above was the case?

Careful - don't encourage me too much. Mr. Green

You can see the holes though bending over the thumb tab in the bob fett lid. It must be a dodgy mesh they stick to your visor... I know it looks obvious that that is what it is but you cant ever be 100% about things just by how it looks... That's a downer...

I think you would get a ticket at roadside for looking like a nob.
