1 piece may keep you a tiny bit drier
2 piece is more versatile especially if you like curries and chinese food Wink Wink

My vote goes to the 2 piece, I've got a 1 piece and it's a pain in the arse, i only tend to use it on a longish ride, if you're just going to use it for nipping around then the 2 piece will be much more practical IMO. Thumbs Up

1-piece is a complete PITA to get on i find (apparently its easier after you've had alot of practice)

I dont bother wearing it to work if its raining, i just get wet and sulk Laughing

It was very good on the long ride in the rain i did though, although some of the moisture on the inside (from me sweating like a pedo in a playground) did have a tendancy to condense and pool in my crotch -_-

Looks like i'll go for the 2-piece. Costs twice as much but i think for the practicality it's worth it. Do you know what sized i'd need so that it will fit over my jacket & trousers?

Thanks, Jack

forgot to add
may be worth considering something a little dearer with CE armour built in, you can also get lined ones, theyre quite toasty in summer but will be handy in winter and you can fit trousers under if you remove the lining.

i use a spada 2 piece with extra padding added to the CE stuff (CE built-in back protection is laughable)

I'll have my textile jacket under-neath which has armour though, it's just shockingly crap in stopping rain Laughing . I could get armoured trousers but i'm going to have draggin jeans underneath.

I'm only on a 50cc mind so i won't be going quicker than 45.

you might not go over 45 but add that to the possible car that hopefully wont hit you

45+60=105mph

glad you see sense/ride safe,

have you tried scotchguarding the textile?
(unfortunately its not dipping your clothes in whiskey Wink )

Yeah what your saying about a car is so true, im hoping to stay with bikes so i guess paying more now means less along the line. My friend just rides around on his ped in a £10 nike waterproof jacket Rolling Eyes Doesn't listen when i tell him about road rash and crash impacts.

My textile jacket atm is what i'd call shower-proof but not waterproof. I could get some scotchguard but the jacket in itself has many faults where water comes in Sad . The only thing with the trousers is that i'm only going to have a small locker and textile ones wouldn't fold up very small. I've got motorcycle boots and the other week after i got in the only things dry were my feet Laughing
