just bought this yamaha fzr 600 and noticed i cant see a resevre fuel tap. does it have one? i cant see it and also there is no fuel gauge so how do i know when to fill her up?

look on the left hand side, as ure sat on the bike, inline with the fuel cap.
Just below the frame, Down is on - up is reserve.

fuel taps on all fzrs get snapped by un witting mechanics and diy'ers. £30 for a new one.

i have had the exup 1000 i had didnt have a fuel reserve nor fuel guage uk model

the fzr 750 i have currently does thats a jap import model ( downsized sleeved its really a gen1000)

i have never had the 600cc fzr so i couldnt tell ya on that.

to know when to fill her up run her on a full tank keep checking the fuel level

if the 600 has the same sized tank as the 1000 it will hold roughtly 19 litres

round about 110 miles per tank dependant on riding stlye maybe less

they all share the same petrol tank except the 750 which is like the thunder cat tank. all you have to do is keep checking the level and note how many km u've done then when it comes up to that km on your trip you know when to fill up. easy Very Happy
