Im after some kind of tutorial to help me create a website for one of our businesses

I did a tutorial a few years ago but cant remember for the love of god what it was.

Help me out someone Smile

Also any web designers out there, i wouldnt mind finding out how i would get into that line of work Wink

Download a dreemweaver trial...
Follow the tutorials and start from there...
There crap but get you started...

Im sure some on people on the site have better though..
I can do all the infrastructure but my design skills are as good as my dancing in a night club (you don't want to know)

I think its all about getting the exposure and chance...

I agree Colin, you can pretty much learn how to do everything from home with a computer these days... most degrees mean f'all anyway!

I've told him to go for it, you never know unless you try. I actually think he will be really good at it.

Well i done the whole college route, 3 years computer support, uni 1 year computer networking. Now i am doing website managment/desgin/graphic design got so sick of networking and am self taught at the at the rest.

I'm self taught. I'm just saying it's harder than it looks, will take a LOT of your time if you're going to learn it properly and have no prior experience in programming (like 4 hours a night for a few months at least), and even once you've learnt everything if you have no natural artistic flair you'll only turn out sub-average websites. The latter is the bit I struggle with Wink

If you want to have a go though don't let anybody stop you.
