Could you recommend me one please?

I just want to upload a TV series for someone

24 Episodes all just under 360MB per file

I Use to use Fileho.com - But its too unreliable, people complain there getting the message page cannot be displayed and stuff. And i have experienced problems myself, when i attempt to download my own files from it.

And i use mediafire.com for my music, which is brilliant, but it limits the files sizes to 100mb which is no good for larger video files.

Much appreciated *Dangles Karma Cookie* Smile

If its just to share with one person on friends why don't you set up an ftp server at home? Free and unlimited and you are in control of it all..

Hi

To be honest 24 episodes at 360mb each I would just lob each one of a CD and post them. Likely to be just as fast.

All the best

Ok.. Use the following site for setting up your router on port 21:

https://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
(this site is written for nearly every router on the market for those interested)

then:

Follow the instructions and diagrams on this web page to set up an ftp server.

https://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1491&page=1

Just to let you know some isps block you from using port 21 (ftp) but you can use another port (preferably not 110, 25 or 80 either). Just get your connecting user to use the port you chose in their ftp software to connect.

CE

Any probs or q's let me know..

Not trying to hijack, but thanks for the thread FIRE_NSR. I was looking for someone to host a zipped album for me at about 50mB and mediafire.com worked great. Saved me from having to start my own thread and wait for a reply. Thumbs Up

Why doesn't he just download a torret application and pull 24 episodes off in his own time, saving you time effort and money Question

Files are already hosted, just search via btjunkie.org / isohunt.com etc

Why? My wife works in IT and knows what she's doing. Against stereotypes, she's an awesome driver too.

Consider yourself lucky anyway!
