Ipod Nano advice needed

I havent got a clue about these things, hence the question.

My daughter has loads of stuff on her Nano that I want on my Nano, just wondered is there a way of transferring it, from one to the other.....without the hassle of downloading from scratch.

I'm guessing she has all the songs stored on her computer in itunes?
if so, then you just need plug your ipod into her pc, itunes will recognize your ipod & ask if you want to update your ipod with the new itunes, say yes, then it should said transferring the songs.

iPod and iTunes only let one iPod and one cimputer be paired.

If you put your iPod onto her itunes, it'll wipe everything off it, and add the tunes from her iTunes onto your ipod.

When you8 plug your iPod bac into your PC, it'll reformat the iPod for use with your computer.

Check out anapod explorer, I believe that allows multiple PC use with an iPod

theres various programs that can rip the music back off an ipod, i'll have a look for you in a bit are you using windows or mac?

when you plug your iPod into the computer in one of the menus in iTunes you can set your iPod so that you can manually manage library, that way you can just drag the songs you want and not have it automatically update everything.
