Quite like them to be honest, good build quality and actual SV650 engines. Only problem is they are a lot heavier so you lose out on the engine compared to an SV.
But considering the pricing you can't argue.
The Aquilla looks like much nicer than a Harley, wouldn't mind one were i able to afford it.

The only bike from them I'd consider is the GT125 as it looks like a bigger bike so it's built bigger. Not flimsy like a CBR125. Not had the best experience with Hyosung but they're more established here now than back when I had one.

I rode the Gt250R the other day and it's currently sitting in my garage! IT';s my friend bike but I rode it down from Essex. It's an 06 reg and done just under 7k miles now. Good bike. Only complaint is the stupidly long seat. I barely cover half of it and it's really awkward when taking someone pillion.

I was very impressed with it tbh and I actually love riding it. Just waiting for my friend to get a proper can instead of the stock (even though it looks nice) as it has 2 baffles. One right in the middle and one at the end. Tempted to drill holes at the end as other owners on another site have done and they sound much nicer.

I have nothing bad to say except for being quiet(good when being sneaky though) and the rider's seat. Part from that it's all good. Can do 105 tucked in and it's very comfy. Shamefully has a higher top end than my Hornet(restricted) I'll never hear the end of it from my friend, except for the fact that he can't ride it till at least October

Will put up some pictures when I get a sunny day here. Hopefully it's sunny tomorrow after work. Lovely looking bike.

A mate has last years Aquillia and absolutely loves it.

Ya do get what ya pay for though.

Hes had the small end caps fall off the frame and have to be replaced, his fuel guage light doesnt work the way its meant to and the fuel tank cracked and pissed fuel all over him while on the move

Other that that its great

Also heard of the digital dash just shitting themselves.
One guy I know on a gt650 had them send him a new one.
Wiped 10 tho kms straight off his bike

If they do these things when new what are they going to be like in a few years.

Not sure I' touch one just yet

Ha! I notice the article mentioned the "well placed footpegs" then.

Those'll be the ones that are so far forward that when I went to take one for a test ride I couldn't ride the bike cos I actually reach them then?

Cracking looking bike, supposed to be a good performer too, but not suitable for short people without some fairly major engineering........

I fancied one of the GT650Rs, I know they're heavier but the motor is about 10hp stronger than the SV.

They look excellent in the flesh, if a tad small.

Done nearly 2000 miles on it no problems got it in June
Has just been sat for 21 days started first try

You will never get lost on a hyosung as you can follow the trail of parts home.

I have had mine GV650 for about 6 months, I have done about 6k on it, Had it from new and gotta say every mile has been great, Nothing has fallen off it corners like a sports bike and is very smooth and comfy.
I have extremely short legs and the pegs are perfectly placed for me. They do have 2 settings for the pegs.
I also own a Bandit, again a great ride and I use it for commuting.
but long trips its the Hyosung

you have got short legs then, to ride my bandit i have to leave the side stand down to mount and dismount.
when ridding I can only reach the floor with 1 foot and I have had the seat lowered.

A friend of mine bought a GT250R last month after just passing his test. I must admit that from a distance it looked really smart but up close revealed some of the worst welding i've ever seen in my life- cold lapping, porosity, spatter, welling - I've never seen anything like it!!!
Well the bike lasted all of 3weeks before the frame collapsed and i'm very surprised it lasted that long. They replaced the bike and the new one arrived on Saturday. The bad news is that the new one is just as poor. After seeing the state of the new one i've told him to take it back and ask for a refund on the grounds that the bike is a danger to the rider and everyone else on the road.

The GV and GT models must be made in a different place then because the welding on the GV cruiser style Hyohungs have very good welding.
