Haven't watched the vid, but at a guess you'd just stick one ontop of your current exhaust.

You could stick some 'R6' stickers on the bike as well Razz.

I would think your just going to add unwanted weight to the bike and that mito in the video sounds worse than the normal can to me and looks a bit crappy from the back IMO.

It would only be the can, somehow I don't think R6 downpipes would fit a Mito...

All it will do is look oversized and kill the performance, getting the exhaust right is pretty important on a 2 stroke. Of course you could just slip the shell over your actual exhaust, and it would kill performance marginally with the extra weight, but would still look as ridiculous as the one in that video. Thumbs Up

Look at your average 'boy racer' - it's a pretty popular pass time to cover your vehicle in heavy aftermarket stuff that slows it down so that you think it looks 'cool' (well, ok usually people do it in the belief everyone else will think that too, which is usually not the case).

There used to be an NSR near my old place that had a big bike exhaust on it.

I actually 'LOL'd.

I'm guessing people who didn't know anything about bikes were very impressed though. Having a can that's wider than your back tyre must get 'rispec'.

Looks a bit crappy from the side too, the Mito is a delicate bike and that can looks way too big for it.

depends on why you want to do it, exhaust are all abotu pressure waves and by modifing them u can change the perormance of your engine, not always bad... removing baffles helps the waves flow and so helps gain power, you can gain more mid range or more top end by changing the length, on a 2 stroke the can doesn't have as big effect as the expansion chambers do most of the work and so they are more important...

why not just cut off your existing end can, hacksaw it off just before the can and stick a bugle or a trombone onto the pipe, im sure it would be just as annoying. Thumbs Up
