Hi all

right i put new sinterd pads on my bike 150miles ago on the rear of my gsxr400. the whole time they been on they have worked sweet!

today all they do is screeeeach!!!!!! REALLY loud!!!!!!!!! REALLY!!!! Confused

I havent done anything to them, havent washed the bike or anything and all of a sundden loads of noise!

any idears on what it could be???

could be dirt/dust behind the pads. did you put copper grease on the back of the pads before you fitted them? that absorbs the tiny vibrations that cause the squeel. after all a noise is a vibration.

Dont do a wheelie in front of a traffic copper... it gets you 3pts and £220 fine.

Yep plenty of cg on the backs!

really strange how it just starts after 150miles odd i could understand it if they did it straight away!

SORTED IT!

just needed some more brake greese on the back of the pads!
i put some copper greese on it but not anuff!

thats good to hear, i allways put loads of cg on my pads. sometimes i think, why the hell did i put that much on there LOL. the more the better.
