You not wrong about a lot of cleaning up.

Maybe this is another sell for parts on ebay to pay for a better model to use as a project.

But good luck Thumbs Up

Even many think my deauville wil never be something,i'm proving otherwhise.
The frame is again in working condition, brakes overhauled, front suspension new seals and wearing rings.
1 cylinder of so i could replace the leaking connection pipe between both cylinders.
New exhaust.

But still didn't found a workshop manual for a deauville.
Seems like i have a hard to find bike. Razz in this condition he was hard to find lolz.

Greetz,...

I always wondered how they got crash bars onto the NT650V , now I know they just drilled the frame,

except for the subframe it looks identical to the NTV650 , if the subframes were interchanable (which they aren't) it'd be a good NTV conversion.

Finaly, she runs again.
The engine runs realy smooth again.
Once all the oil and grease where cleaned off the bike looked better.
Replaced all the leaking seals and gaskets.
Mounted a new exhaust (MID).
rear cylinder replaced the gaskets, replaced o-rings and seals on water pipes, thermostat, cover waterpump(small crack).
Did a big service on it and checked valve clearance.

Next week i will take the wheels out and let them repaint.

So now i'm getting bored again and wanna start on the next bike.
So anyone who has a looking scrap bike, send it over.....

If thats the same bike, its amazing what a bit of plastic covers up Wink

Nice job.

Amazon seems to have some Honda NTV600 Revere, NTV650 and NTV650V Deauville Service and Repair Manual: 1988 to 2005 (Haynes Service & Repair Manuals) (Hardcover)
for sale.

Maybe a ring round a few dealers may locate one they have laying around... Thats if you still need one.
