Right, having talked about this several times before, lets actually try and sort it out Smile

Looking at doing it with https://www.cashonda.com/experience/index.html and its £120 for the day, which gets you everything... kits, bike, petrol etc etc. Just turn up and ride Smile

Its down in Ringwood in Hampshire and I'm reckoning on a weekend in say... early December?

Who will actually want to come. I want to *try* and get this booked this week or next I reckon Smile

I'd love to do it, but there is no way I can this side of Xmas - everything seems to need money at this time of year Sad

I can throroughly recommend the CAS Honda experience, although if it's your very first time, then I reckon that a dry day will be more fun (i.e. not in winter time). I think that I went last February and generally had a good time, but I was knackered out too early 'cos I constantly had to dig the bike out of the mud (after digging my way in).

I hope to get my CRM sorted out soon and take it onto some of the local "tracks" (£15 a day or something) if I can get a trailer etc sorted.

Do they need money in advance?

I would have thought at the very beggining of feb would be better... as a lot of people's december pay cheques may well have gone on christmassy stuff or paying it off.

As mentioned before I'd definately be interested.

Ok right just spoke to them

The need £50 up front per person. Doesn't matter on the group size, but they make it up to a group of 12 with other people, so how many people we have will affect the dates we can choose from I guess.

Next years dates are being released this Thursday, and they have lots of brochures/ leaflets etc at the NEC so get one there Smile

Price is going up to £135 (ish) next year, but if you book this year for the first quarter of next year the price stays the same (excluding saturdays)

And I forgot to ask if you can use your own bike Rolling Eyes but I don't think that's the idea of the day tbh.

So... do we want to try and book it with deposits this year and get the day at same rates as this year? We'd need to do it on a weekday though for it to be worthwhile Smile

So we have:

Ste
Korn
Bendy
G
Mr Hippy if its next year?
Goose if its next year? (presume it would have to be a weekend?)

Anyone else want to come? If you're needing place to stay if travelling then Im sure that can be sorted.

I may be up for it next year. It depends on whether I've come out of hibernation or not by the time you go.

I doubt very much that you'll be allowed to bring your own bike (although there is a nifty supercross circuit just yards away, as well as a rally circuit) as things can get a bit snug with more than 10 people on the track already.

Here's a tip though - don't even think about riding there. Get some foo...er, I mean, kind person to drive down. Razz
