sucks.

seriously, avoid it. all it does is make my pc reset when lauching, ive altered all the setting i can, updated / reinstalle graphics drivers, ect, but it just crashes or resets the pc.

went on the developers forums to see if there was anly help there, but its about 180pages of people moaning and no solutions, so i didnt bother.

taking it bak tomorrow for a refund

ah, solved th issue. now running on directx 9 rather than 10, still on min. graph setting though another gig of ram should sort that

Just finished the game my impressions.......


Excellent value for money, best graphics and sound in a FPS so far (first use of the new unreal engine as far as i,m aware) the game its self is kind like a metropolis version of system shock 2 (set in 1960 though) plus its a very long game with hacking/puzzles 10 different weapons that are all customizable plus have 3 different types of ammo, theres also plasmids which are like the PSI ability's in the system shock games freeze/set on fire/telekinesis/shock/summon/mind control/cloak etc that can be brought with a substance called "ADAM" or researched though taking photos of enemy's.


Good storyline with a twist near the end but with a Sad but good ending (l rescued most of the little sisters in the game instead of harvesting them so like in S.T.A.L.K.E.R l was a good character which payed off in the end).
