If I replace my paper filter with a K&N filter will I see an increase in fuel consumption? Am I best replacing like with like or using the K&N?

Thanks in advance

:-)

The K&N idea is to increase air intake. But modern bikes, the amount of money the manufacturers spend investing in designs. I doubt you'd see any difference.

Depends what bike i suppose.

Doubt it'll sound any different as the airbox is still standard. Only real benefit is that it can be cleaned and reused.

Made zero difference to mine.

Waste of money in my opinion, at least with paper you can see when
its dirty.

Plus if you get the proper K&N cleaner, its more expensive than
a replacement paper filter anyway.
