i bought the bike thinking it was a liquid cooled but now i found out its an air cooled nrg.

i ve got an engine cooling fan for it n was wondering could anyone tell me where its supposed to go.

i know it goes in the right hand side of my engine but where exactly please.

or i need to know another reason apart from the cdi unit and the spark plug why my nrg isnt getting spark.

if anyone can help me id be very gratefull.

Hey skramz, if you dont have or cant get a manual to help with the fan installation, maybe have a search for as many NRG pics as you can and you might find a few to help you find where to put it.

as for the spark, it could be the coils or the HT leads, but I dont know how you would check these.

Doesnt your mate have an NRG? I know its a different model (Liquid cooled) but if the CDI and coils are the same and his bike is running fine, he might let you swap parts onto yours until you gt it to run, then you'll know which parts you need to replace.

Fan bolts onto the Rotor on the RH side of the engine next to where the exhaust bolts up.. should also have a cover to go over it.

If its got no spark its gonna be one of two things.

Green wire to the coil has shorted under the floorboards and is always grounded to earth.. (you can check it with a meter... should only be to earth with ignition OFF)

Or stator has failed... which is very common. Make sure if you order one you get the right one as they use 2 types... long lead or short lead.
