.. and I don't think it's a red light camera (aren't they on seperate posts?).

There's a set of traffic lights on my commute for a pedestrian crossing on the exit of a roundabout, and every time I go through them there's a blinding flash which seems to be emitted from either the top or the possibly the area around the green light. It seems to flash when I'm about 4 foot away from it.

I wear a pinlock tinted visor and it's powerful enough to disorientate me through that, which is rather worrying as it's quite a sharp curve.

I'm not sure if the lights are actually working at the moment, there is a lot of maintenance going on around that area and some of them are partially covered over with tarps...

Does anyone have any ideas what this is? Should I expect a load of NIPs through the post? Laughing

I have had the same experience today......a white flash from in-between pedestrian crossing lights....I put it down to a broken covering or similar.

You aren't supposed to be able to see the mind control flash.
It must be your visor changing the frequency.

I have this EVERY day on the way home (i turn left 30 yards from the lights) so it not as though im speeding - i think they're just bored.

P.s - i've never recieved anything through the post, so it's not like a fine or anything.

I went past the light today at a more sensible speed and had a gander, the bottom half of the green light is snapped off and fuck me, those lights inside are bright! They'd make excellent headlights by the looks of it Very Happy
