it has been said that b4 getting into the car he was warned not to use the brakes during the run.

When there was the blowout, he panicked and used the brakes resulting in the crash.

He is likeable and entertaining but man of the year seems a bit strong. I suppose you have to pick someone that everyone has heard of and is well liked, so why not him.

However im sure that with a little looking, someone more deserving could be found.

The mans a weasel. He crashed and lived, so what? His on screen persona is copied directly from Tiff niddel and he licks jeremy clarksons arse. Everything he says on that programme appears to have been rehearsed for hours before and he comes out with such a pile of shit when commenting on sometimes what are crap cars. He was put on a plinth by the media and turned into a hero because he basically did something stupid. It reeks of the similar thing that happened to diana (don't get me started on that effing circus!) where she was made a hero by the smae people that hounded her to her death, the media is fickle, if he was caught drink driving or similar they would want his neck in a hoop.

Anyway, I dont care cos Im much more handsome than that old age git!!
