I didn't think that was cool at all , I don't fancy chocolate after seeing that. Flake adverts make you want a flake!

A good advert leaves you thinking about it, even discussing it afterwards.

Therefore, this is a brilliant advert in my mind. Smile

That advert is probably about the best advert on TV at the moment (although that's not really saying much I guess). When I first saw it I was really hoping they'd keep the advert going through the drum solo, little knowing the advert was sort of centred around that anyway! Tis cool Thumbs Up

I still prefer Galaxy though.

I thought it was well funny, even if it has no point.

Its got everything, a bit of phil, a gorilla and a random drumming bit.

Couldnt help but think cadburys went to an advertising agency and they said weve got this one with a gorilla playing the drums but were struggling to apply it to a product. Cadburys thought is got eff all to do with chocolate but were having it anyway.

From what Ive seen theres two reactions to it first time round, either hysterical laughing or stunned confused silence!

Maybe the whole point of the advert is to make you associate cadburys with gorillas instead on salmonella.

Saw it earlier, the advert is cool. I like drums, I like gorillas, I like chocolate, I like this advert.

But what is the message? what is it trying to get at with...a monkey playing the drums to advertise chocolate? Confused

The monkey (or gorilla) shows clear...strong emotions in the advert but...how does that make you want chocolate? I do want chocolate now but I do not get how it is advertised in that way at all..

God. Why do people keep saying "But it has nothing to do with chocolate"?

That's the point, you remember it, you have to ask questions about it, therefore you are making a conscience decision to think about the product. In fact I feel a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk right now. Smile

Plenty of pisstakes on youtube, this is my fav so far, good editing: -
