Me and OH are off to North Wales next week for a couple of days.

Can anybody recommend a route,one days riding, taking in Snowdonia. We are going to be based in Llangollen.

How many miles are you comfortable with, scenic or sports type of riding?

We did this route (more or less) https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=84269 that was around 150 miles, quite scenic and pretty good for sports bikes.

Think if I was going for the scenic side of things I would look at lapping Snowdon, go to say Beddgelert, then head back around the other side, it's a fair distance though.

A nice steady, scenic ride....generally just pottering, not a sporty ride.....will do us nicely. With lots of stops for stretching etc, cos I have a back problem so dont like to be in the saddle for too long.

Bangor Uni starts in the next few weeks, the roads are hell on that weekend.

Sat 22nd / Sun 23rd.

Don't think there's any bad roads up there, apart from the A55. Mobile speed cameras out most weekends.

Thanks for that info..... will be going next week, mid week....so hopefully roads should be ok Thumbs Up
