I am extremely bored, hence the thread

was looking through things i've drawn so..

Can any of you draw?
If so what is the best thing you've ever drawn?

Show me pictures to entertain me

actually I pass , I've not drawn anything in ages and most of them are of naked girlies, and in the presence of people like Gman who do this for a living my stuff will look utterly shite.

Hmmm itchy, did i miss something? Shocked Gman draws naked ladies for a living? Crazy......send us some of your stuff Very Happy

Ninaroo - i prefer the horse pic, not that i'm a 'fan' of horses personally but to be honest i think it is a better drawing. The shading seems slightly better. Also, the lines seem more distinct.

I know that isnt the point in some drawings but that is my own opinion.

The pic of the woman in the first one, well it seems a little light to me, ie there isn't enough of a contrast between the shades.

Only my opinion, don't mean to be offensive just some contructive (i hope) criticism.

No offense taken i agree, don't paticularly like the shading on the left side of her face

It's Marilyn Monroe by the way xD

I never went to art college but have always enjoyed painting and drawing. I'll have a go at pretty much anything art and craft wise! Probably my best thing is a mural which I did with my mum in my family home. It's a reproduction of a Renaissance fresco in Florence, just about life-size too. Originally we were going to paint about half each but I had more time, plus I'm happier to sit and paint fiddly details than my mum, so I did about 75%. It took a loooooong time, nearly 10 years painting off and on on weekends back from uni etc. But I'm pretty pleased with the result!

Sorry these pics are quite big, but they're the only ones I have online...

The whole thing (excuse the uneven line joins, I couldn't get far enough away when I took the pic so it had to be taken in 3 sections!):

The whole thing looking into the room:
https://www.briarrosegallery.co.uk/20.jpg

A close up of a section:
https://www.briarrosegallery.co.uk/7.jpg

I'm trying to put together a website for my stuff, but I've not managed to find the time yet....

Got no drawing talent whatsoever.
But looking forward to seeing what this thread throws up.

mmmmmyes Embarassed

That picture was one i did to try and portray a character outside the pre-written fiction of the series.

The unfinished picture is completely my own though - working piece by piece as i decide how she is going to look - started with the hair and then the rest sort of came together. I have masked the image as best i can to hide my scribbles & indecisions.
