Suzuki RG500 Gamma questions

If I get my long overdue promotion I would like to purchase one of these (the mid 1980's one) I was wondering what price ranges these bikes ask and what parts availability is like.

Failing that whats the most recommended bike around that capacity (no more than 600cc).

Anything under 3K will be a rolling wreck requiring another 3K to get it anything like. I would say 5K will get you a good standard bike.

Value for money compared to a modern 600???? Not really.

But a CBRGSXRZXYZF will never be as nutty as an RG5.

Buy Ride magazine and go over the articles running at the moment on sorting one out.

This month is the engine rebuild. £1800 with some parts no longer available from Suzuki.
