Can someone help me with this one plz,mrs has a el250 eliminator but she is thinking of having a er500 or cb500 ,question is will she be better off with a restricted 500 ,I am aware of the restrictors etc and have rebuilt more bikes than I can remember but what I need to know is how the resrtictors affect power delivery ,do they kick in at a certain revs ,can the restriction be felt low down or only as the power/revs rise btw I ride an 05Fazer thou and gpz500 hack
anyone able help ? Rolling Eyes

If she has passed her full test IMO I wouldnt bother getting it restricted. I have a 600 and if I had it restricted I prolly wouldnt bother to ride it.

Trouble is she wont ride the bike unrestricted , until her 2 yrs are up so I really need to decide with her which route is best...I have ridden the eliminator and I think its dog slow ,when she comes out with me and "our lot" she aint got the oomph to make those smart (not dangerous)overtaking moves. Very Happy If anyone has thoughts on restricted 500,s plz shout up!
