I'm mainly going for the stalls as I need to get a new helmet and buy some leathers!

Well since i last posted on this thread i have had a problem with my bike..... doing 80mph last nite wen i hit a patch of gravel and the outcome of gravel being fired up towards my exaust is a 2 inch hole! I havent got the money or the time to get a new exaust b4 saturday but if i can get a dodge job done till my exaust comes then ill come!

Yeah i mite be able to...... will have 2 see if i could get a lift over!

I wanna try welding a plate to the exaust 2nite and see if it holds, im not worried about performance as my mate is going down on his monkey metal shite which only does 60mph its just the noise i wanna drown out!

Well at the moment my bikes sitting in the garage still with the hole, but at 6:30 2nite im off to kempston to see chip, a mate of mine and we're gonna try welding a plate of metal and using sum exaust putty just so it can hold out for the weekend!

Feel free to come over here if you like to have a ganders..... its not a pretty sight i must say tho!

I was there, the group I was with, a lad on a scooter crashed about 1min into the ride he was fine and we carried on......

we get onto the B1043 and two of the lads i was with were on bigger CC bikes (bandit6 and a GSXR400) when a guy we were with on a cbr125 tries to go 65mph between them, when they are riding parralel

He ends up on the floor closely followed by the gsxr and the rider, so the idiot wrote off not only his '07'cbr124 but a 15 year old beauty of a GSXR, he had a laserated knee, road rash everywhere

eventually got to the BMF at 2pm (we left at 9:30 from bedford, around 30miles)

I had an eventful time getting there, friday night I picked my car up from a respray, on the way home somehow managed to burst front and rear tyre on drivers side. After alot of mucking around trying to find a second spare, I got it home.

As I was working 9-5 on Saturday, had to get new tyres fitted in my lunch break. After this a strange clanking sound came from the rear tyre. So, after more panicking and mucking around, it turned out one of the bolts was too long and was hitting the handbrake shoe. So sorted that out, and went back to work.

Sunday morning, I wake up with a bit of a hangover. Proceed to throw up. Then again, then again, and a couple more times.

Fuck this, it won't keep me away from the show!

So I manage to drive there without being sick, start to have a look round, decide not to buy anything on the first tour round, as I will just get a better deal round the next corner.

My brother and dad buy a whole load of gear, my other half get's arsey for no reason.
Manage to sort out a helmet, and full gear for her.
Sweet

Now time for me to find myself a nice new jacket...

My stomach disagrees and I spend the next half hour in the toilets.
(Probably would have been less, but the smell of whoever previously used the toilet helped me bring my stomach contents up)

At this point decided it best to go home before I am dead.

So I leave the show, which I forced everyone to come to with me, with nothing.

Bugger!

Oh well, looks like I'll be looking for some ebay specials.

Or, does the bike show at the NEC sell much gear cheaply?

Well i know there was probably 1000's of bikes there that was lush to look at but my favourit was parked just outside of gate 15.... Mint R1 in a bright red "Virgin" paint job!
