Totally random but.... after doing my hazard perception again yesterday for bike i noticed something a little odd.

There i was watching the screen as if i was driving/rideing through a busy town centre when all of a sudden there is a row of parked cars, one with a traffic cone on its roof!

Now surly this is a hazard! I mean think about it, what if it had slipped of the roof in a massive gust of wind... and fallen in the path of the car/bike... then being tossed into the air, then hitting a unexacting passer by? Laughing

I still reckon extra marks for noticing it Wink

That's a warning sign, it means watch out for the stumbling piss head(s) who're probably not far away. Razz

To add my 2p's worth! Do you reckon they pre-plan these hazards for us to perceive or drive around for hours with cameras attached to the cars?

EEEEEEEEErrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmm I think that they may, just may, set them up with actors in a farely controlled enviroment. How else could you explain on one of the clips there is a male walking allong the road in a country lane and he starts to do a mince walk right at the end of it. Most of the other vehicles are general public but the hazards are set up.

my daughter ncked a cone and wandered for about half a mile with it shouting through it to her mates, cops pulled up and said you took the cone from live wiring please return it, she said are you headed that way they said yes and she said why dont you take it, miserable gits followed in the car making sure she replaced it, here was me thinking that her joining the forces would make her responsible Rolling Eyes

99% of the Hazard perception clips are staged. They're so ridiculous it's not true, which is why they're easy to spot and react to "too quickly" apparently. You get doors opening straight infront of you from parked cars, ppl looking at you then walking straight out, kids running out to catch a ball they just kick into road, even had one where 2 delivery men were carrying something across the road.

They're probably in the process of filming the next batch; expensive painting getting carried accross the road, and a grand piano being winched up through a kerbside window Rolling Eyes
