I've got a GSXR750 slingshot '89 with a 330mm rear shockie. I want to raise the rear a little (not too much Laughing) and have come to a dead end finding dog bones for it... so does anyone know of a direct replace shock from another bike with say a 340mm or tops 350mm length eye 2 eye, that I could use... not much luck yet on evilbay

smake shorter dogbones to raise the back end by how ever much you want, careful, too much and the swinger will nip the shock, but fabing up some of your own makes them right for you like a tailored suit, i was thinking of doing some of my own but dont know where to get thick enough ally or stainless. Thumbs Up

its not the regular dog bones that you normally get on a bike,
they are cast ali, that clear the shock spring,
buying replacements is around £80

except he doesn't have a milling machine,
it would be fine if they were the usual dog bones that you get on most bikes, and you could just cut up and drill some flat bar,
but they are like this

*9 is a K model.

Different shock with no reservoir, iirc flat steel dog bones and a different linkage. Picture you have up is for a 1990 L model.
