putting my jeep in the paper next week to get the money for the bike test.
how much would i be looking at for the theory test and practical test seperate?
was thinking ill do the theory now and get one or two lessons off an instructor just to polish up on the does and donts.
ive heard of the das costing people £450+ ??
ive been riding off road bikes since i was a kid and riding road bikes (125cc) for about a year.
i class myself as a pretty good and safe rider and have no problem with handling big or small bikes and things like u turns are a doddle.
so the question
would a couple of lessons teach me enough to get me through my test with the riding experience i have now?or should i expect to need a few more?
never thought id get sick of the 125cc road bikes but i have, and i could see myself on a zooky bandit
thanks

Couple of lessons should be fine. When I took my A2 test I had only a years experience on my 125 and all it took was 2 full day lessons and took my test on the third day.
Theory is 28 quid now and DAS for a course which give you everything will be around 450 or so and they'll provide everything.
Gonna get a bigger Hyosung? 650 perhaps? ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600

i thought id just be able to do the actual test and thats it?
dont really fancy spending that much on it.
can i do the a2 test without the need for a full course?? ____________________ DRZ-400sm |

I'm sure you can take the test straight away, but to be able to ride the the examiners wants is different to how you ride on the road. ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600

you can take the test without lessons, virus on here did and passed first time
but i would advise you get at least an hour with an instructor, just so he/she can assess your riding.
doing das was the best thing i've ever done, i only wish i'd done it sooner |
