i beleive there is a restrictor in the exhaust,
pull your exhust off and have a look,
there may also be a variator washer type restriction as well

You have just bought a brand new aerox and you already want to de-restrict it. At least ride it for a bit first. If you really wanted a de-restrict it why didn't you buy a second hand one that's already had the job done. I wouldn't mess about with it personally and just enjoy riding until it really really pisses you off.

Hi i also just got myself a aerox. at first i didnt know weter to de-restrict a brand new one myself or to buy a second hand one thats already been done, after researching it i found out it can be quite tricky to de-restrict it so i went for the second hand one, and bought myself a leo vinci exhaust and it now does speed of 55-60mph so i think it is well woth doing.
