Anyone ever tried an Evo Star?

https://www.factorypro.com/products/shift_kit,Factory_Pro.html

My VFR gearbox is clunky as hell and I'm getting some 'bounce' from the lever when shifting to second gear, thinking one of these bad boys would be just the ticket.

Whens the last time the oil was changed? Why not try and get used to it or perhaps ask other vfr owners if they have the same "problem" rather than throwing cash at it. Razz

500 miles ago, Castrol GPS Power1 and OEM filter.

It's a VFR/Honda trait, the Evo Star claims to remove it, hence me asking if anyone's got one fitted Smile

Aaaaaah one of those bits of kit. I remember replacing the detent star on my Sv650, fairly easy thing to do. I went for OEM but remember some other sv owners had got this bit of kit and were fairly impressed with it so there's no doubt that it will sort your problem. Thumbs Up

Be carefu when replacing it Toby, I know what you're like...you'll probably end up seizing the engine or something. Laughing Razz
