Just got a call off Titot in Scotland. Unfortunately he has low sided the ZXR into the side of a car.

Hes alright which is the main thing. Bikes a bit of a mess though. Hes going to need

Offside engine casing
Offside passenger foot peg hanger
End can
Clutch lever
fairings

He will add to this tomorrow when he gets to work with more details about the exact model.

Just posting to let you know as he wanted me to put it up because hes got no internet access at home. Only at work.

Cool - he can retire it and spank his monkey into it on a full time basis - no need to clean it up after each session anymore!

Glad he's ok, bikes are easier and cheaper to fix than peeps. Thumbs Up

Didn't occur to me that my head could have been under a van. I DIDN'T lose my head - literally and metaphorically - coulda easily been under the fiesta. Woman and her dog were calm and shocked - she goes to me, thank fuck my car had it's MOT yesterday and had her brakes fixed! Rolling Eyes

What happened was that i was turning into the exit from a busy roundabout (A1 in Tranent - East Lothian), put on a bit of power in 2nd gear and rear end stepped out. Bike did a 180, i slid off for 20 yards on my back - bike shunted the side of the car - exahust damage.

Boblebee backpack saved my life and damage - came unscathed - my arai had 2 chips (but can be touched out with emo black nail varnish). The backpack only made a small scratch - impact and abrasion resistance of ABS is very good. Even my blink 182 sticker didn't get scratched up!. 55 quid on ebags IS worth every bit of investment - cos the bag stood proud of my lid - it saved it from even more damage than it got away with!

Not a single rip or bursted seam on my clothes so i am thankful to god that i didn't get off with anything worse.

The pics i made were shit, but it's just superficial.

So i will need

Arrow Full fairing set (i can just araldite it for the time being - not my main concern) - i can do what binge did on his bike.
Arrow Choke cable
Arrow clutch lever
Arrow LHS (generator cover) engine cover
Arrow Endcan
Arrow Pillion exhaust hanger
Arrow shock reservoir hanger

All in all i'm looking to get the bike mechanically sound first before i do anything silly with cosmetics

Mirrors, H frame and Double bubble are fine. Tank was fine. Not a scratch to my clothes - lid is still wearable.

Thanks to all you concern.

Mister james - i'm not using a 400 quid arai for a wankpot
although, the only injury i sustained was a slightly bruised right wrist.

My numberplate is fucked - "when titot aint riding, he's wanking"

Well i can't do any of those two things for the time being Thumbs Up Mr. Green Karma

My supervisor jinxed me on the way home - he said " Titot, Chris, take it easy on the coastal roads, we know what you guys are like -don't spill!"

Err yeah Laughing

You got of lightly by the sounds of it....

Sounds like us lot in Edinburgh need to do a get together on a weekend to fix up all the bike's that we've recently flung down the road..... If you need a hand just shout....I have an old Micron can that may well fit your bike(needs a bitof a polish), your welcome to it if you need it and I can always drop it of in edinburgh as I'm through each day for work.
