Hi all, I have a 50cc 4 stroke 139QmB engine, and I was wondering whether a 150cc 4 stroke GY6 engine would fit on my scooter. My moped is a chinease import and on the engine description it says the new engine may fit many various Chinese/Asian bikes and scooters. Here is the link for the engine description.

Many Thanks Aran.

You would be far better off just buying a 125cc. That thing gives fuck all power and you might as well have a proper bike.
I assume you wouldn't be legal with it either?

So is it not worth getting it then? What hp would a 50cc have then?

All i want to know is would it fit? The reason is I am limited to money and therefore if it does fit, it would be cheaper than getting a 125cc.

It isn't really cheaper than a 125 at all. By the time you have paid postage etc it will £350 at cheapest, you can get old CG125s for that. A CG will have around 10hp.
It would also be completely illegal for you to ride the Ped with that engine.
