Just got back from holiday in Ayia Napa.
On the 2nd day there we decided to hire out bikes, Originally wanted gear`d 125s but Gaz wasn't too natural at riding gears, and it would of been a bad idea to set him out on un-familiar, and very poorly built roads on a bike he cant ride too well.

So we decided to get 50cc peds. Laughing

I got a Typhoon 50, Dam_buster and Gaz were on Kymco 50s. Although the Kymcos were 1 or 2mph faster than the typhoon. A gillera has much more style than a Chinese scootay! Laughing

Going from the NC29 to a scooter that does 0-60 in well, Never because it doesn't even do 60. Laughing Laughing Laughing

As soon as we got the scooters, I wanted to go to Larnaca on them to go have a look at my old house where I lived from 97 - 2000. But we soon realised the only easy way there was along the highway. Which scootays are not allowed! Laughing

I was quite familiar with Cyprus anyway as I spent 3 years there, So we went for a little treck into a village called xylufagu. I knew this village linked up to Dhekelia.

So off we went, got a couple of snaps on the road as we left Ayia Napa.

Bring it on Safety Nazis! Laughing Middle Finger

We crossed the Fly over and into Xylofagu where we got lost in the back streets.
We saw a dude doing donuts on a Quad so we asked him for directions, he was a cypriot and very helpful. Told us to follow him, and he rode us to the main drag that leads towards Larnaca.

As soon as we hit the coastal road, I knew exactly where I was, It was a road we used to take in the Pajero to launch the boat every weekend. And as soon as I saw the power station memories came flooding back. I miss the island.
The power station was a bit of a land mark really, you can see it from almost anywhere on the larnaca front.

Ayia Napa to Larnaca is 56 kilometers each way. So we did rack up some miles on these mopeds! Laughing

We stopped off on the coastal road to grab some more photos.

And the legendary Typhoon that I finally managed to wheelie after 2 days of riding it. Powerless thing it was!

No photos of wheelie though.

Gaz got a £70 fine for crashing his scooter and bending the forks! Laughing

I think dam_buster (jim) took some shots on his phone, no doubt he will be here to upload them later.

We finally got home later on that night after getting lost and just going up the highway. doing 45-50mph flat out with big motors passing you at 150 in the same lane is scary as fuck!

The next day we thought it would be fun to go to larnaca again, but further into larnaca. So we set off again on the 56km mission. on the way back, Supprise supprise, we got lost in the back streets again. But bumped into some cypriot lads on gillera Runner 180s. They kindly lead us back to Ayia Napa and after a chat with them, One of the lads was the manager of The Pirates Inn Bar on the Napa Square, And he told us to come up that night. Went for some free drinks in his bar. Cool

Paul is the manager, Hes also offered me work in his Bar next year when I go out. So im off to Cyprus in April 08, and staying there until end of season which is October. Cant wait.

With a bit of luck I will beable to use the Pirate Mini Moke to get around too!

Everything goes in Napa. Thumbs Up

Best club was the Castle Club.

4 rooms, 4 different types of music. 4 atmospheres. 4000 girls gagging for it! Laughing
