pritty easy, provided the bolts come undone at the engine,

take body work off around
unbolt from engine and from the side of the bike,
bolt the new one on, then replace the plastics,
easy as pie Very Happy

Jus took of my old ugly loud pipe, and bolted on the new one. but still very loud and can see smoke coming from the manifold, could this be because i havent bolted on tight enough?

here is a pic of the exhaust i got.

OK. Ive tighted the 2 smaller bolts near the manifold. and its so much quiter it sounds great. ONLY problem is, when i pull the throttle back it now doesn't move. Any idea why this could be? the exhasut feels as though its on perfect.

I've asked around and apparently it might need jetting.

Does anyone agree? Or have different opinions...

more than likely if youve replaced a sports zorst with a standard one.
when you buy a sports one they usually supply the jet with it.

The jets are inside your carb, When you change an exhaust the fuel/air mix may need to be changed. Different size jets adjust the amount of fuel in the mixture. Now its pretty easy to change jets but the problem is finding the right jet to get the best performance. If your are not feeling too confident then its probably best to get someone with some experience as you can mess the mixture up and then it will run like a bag of wet cats. I aint no expert but i think thats about the jist of it Thumbs Up

Ok. Basically i ended up getting a pro round to pick it up to be fixed. He said that in order to use the 05 exhaust i have my engine isnt set up for it or something.

So instead hes gonna use my old sports pipe, and fill it up with some sort of material to make it quieter again. Any idea what material he'll use. Anyway in the meantime im stuk with an exhaust lol.

Probably gonna sel it on ebay. I ASKED THE SELLER WILL IT JUST NEED FITTING AND HE SAID YES LOL!

People be carful when buying parts from websites like ebay etc.

Any ideas what material he;l use and will it make a big differnece in sound, as that was the hole reason i bought an original exhaust.
