Just a little bit slower than the CBR125.

I prefer the 250 though, twin discs at the front. How does it sound with the Ixil can? MY friend wants to change his can soon as it's so quiet!

Guessing you've changed the tyres? Does it handle better than before/more grip? Did changing the screen make much of a difference? I find that the 250's screen doesn't really do much for wind protection.

Nice bike all the same Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Edit: I think fairing indi's for the front are in order Wink

Tbh, I think most of the Hyosungs are good looking. Hell I don't like cruisers but the Acquila is very nice. Was just flicking through a bike mag once and saw it, thought "wow that's one cruiser I'd buy" and then saw it's a Hyosung!

the ixil can sounds really nice, gives it a much beefy sound and with no baffle in its quite loud. MTC also do a nice exhaust for it also. The air filter ive got orderd will give it a nicer tone aswell. I made some orite recordings which i've linked on https://www.myspace.com/hyosunggtr (the rattle in the second half of the ixil recording is because i didn't tighten the baffle bolt)

So far i've got 88 on the display when goin on a long straight tucked behind the screen, so realisticly 80mph. The screen does make a difference, especially when tucked in.

I haven't changed the tyres, the still the shinko's that came on the bike, i'm going to buy some michelen road2 soon. But the stock tyres i've still used entire grip range (no chicken strips).

There is a double conversion kit for the front brake for the 125 but its over £150 and i don't see the need in a double disk at the front on a 125. The stock pads are shit but i upgraded them to some double sinterd pads from EBC and they give much more braking power.

And yeh i've still got to buy some new indicators, are LED indicator worth the extra money?

So far all i haven't been able to get is a decent seat cowl as all that is available now looks like a growth on the back! ( https://www.skidmarx.co.uk/seat_cowls.htm )

But yeh im happy with the bike so far and as a first bike i can't complain!
